About aadivasi.org
Aadivasi.org® is the pioneer of ImpactCommerce® in India, allowing individuals and companies to engage in social deeds while receiving handicrafts from rural communities as a token of appreciation for their contributions. By giving towards environment conservation activities like- planting trees/rainwater harvesting or supporting various impactful causes like- school fees, midday meals, or feminine hygiene products for marginalized tribal rural communities, users can obtain diverse categories of handicrafts of equal value to their contributions. Our idea aims to bring a sense of fulfilment and positivity to people's lives by enabling them to contribute to social good from the comfort of their homes with just a few clicks. Individuals get the eco-friendly handicraft products of their choice while contributing to the causes benefiting the society they are a part of.
For instance, to get apparel as a return gift worth ₹1000, one can contribute to sponsoring 5 units of midday meals or 5 units of tuition fees or to the environment fund. This unique approach makes nature conservation and other social deeds more meaningful, as contributors receive tangible and culturally rich tokens in return for their support. We believe that acts of kindness have a deep impact on both the giver and the recipient, and we want to amplify this effect by making it convenient and accessible for everyone.
aadivasi's mission encompasses multiple goals - creating environmental impact, preserving art and craft, promoting holistic rural development, and creating a sense of empathy & compassion amongst its customers. We wish to transform customers' purchasing behavior by offering them the opportunity to make a significant social impact through their buying choices.
Our vision is to elevate the lifestyle of tribal/ rural communities by fulfilling their necessities, fighting climate change, reducing carbon emissions, providing livelihoods for rural tribal communities, protecting wildlife habitats, and preserving and promoting tribal art & craft.
We believe that hand in hand, we can make a difference and shape a better future for all. We welcome you to embark on this transformative journey towards a better tomorrow.
