Your support directly and in-directly contributes to these causes- women's empowerment, tribal welfare, inclusive growth, and combating global warming.

2. Pick Your Unique Gift: In return for your support, we offer you the chance to select an eco-friendly handicraft of your choice. The value of this gift corresponds to your chosen cause, making it a special gift that represents your good karma.

3. Make a Difference: Your contribution goes directly to the specific social cause you've chosen to support, covering the relevant expenses. After selecting your handicraft and making the payment for your chosen cause, you'll receive an email recognizing your efforts to create a positive impact.

4. Gift the Cause: Here's the best part - you can also choose to gift the cause and handicraft to someone else, whether it's a birthday gift, a gift for your girlfriend/boyfriend, a farewell present, or a special gift for the New Year or gift on any special occasion. Simply provide your recipient's details, a personalized message, and the delivery address for the chosen handicraft. Your friend will receive a Birthday Gift Card "Certificate of Impact" via email, and the selected unique green gift will be couriered to their doorstep.

You can contribute to one or multiple units of any one social cause at a time, or alternatively, you may decide by whatever Impact value is required to get the desired product listed on the website. Here, each unit is equal to the impact value of Rs.200/-

No, you cannot return the handicraft gift. It's important to understand that the handicraft gift is not the main product you've paid for. Your primary support is for the social cause you've chosen to contribute to as an act of kindness. The product you receive is a heartfelt gift from our rural artisans as a token of appreciation for your good karma.

Yes. You can track the consignment by tracking it online on the courier's website. The consignment number is shared in the product dispatch mail sent to you.

The domestic courier charge is not charged to you if your shipment cost is above Rs.1500 per consignment, otherwise, it is charged @ Rs.100 if the cost is below Rs.1500. However, for international shipping, the charges will be on actuals depending on the address of the destination.

However, please note that individual support-based updates may not always be available due to various reasons, including our respect for the dignity and privacy of the beneficiaries and unforeseen circumstances such as beneficiary changes. While we collaborate with numerous rural artisans across different states to craft these handmade products, individually tagging each product with the artisan's name can be challenging. However, you can find general information about the artisan community and the traditional craftsmanship in the product descriptions available on our website. We are dedicated to promoting tribal art and craft, traditional products, and eco-friendly handicrafts while supporting these skilled artisans.

Given the nature of our model, it's not feasible for us to manufacture every item showcased on our website. Instead, we actively support numerous artisans, self-help groups, and institutions. We do this by procuring their handicrafts, offering necessary training where required, financing their training workshops, and promoting their work on our platform. This overall effort is aimed at boosting the demand for rural handicrafts, thereby contributing significantly to the livelihoods of these artisans and communities.

Your good deed reward, or karma gift, can be sent directly to your chosen recipient. Simply provide their shipping address in the shipment address field during the checkout process. The Impact Price displayed for each product represents our approach to rewarding users for their social contributions. Instead of selling products directly (which are sourced from various Self-Help Groups or Artisans), we showcase them on our website with an Impact Price instead of a selling price. This means that to acquire a specific handicraft item, users need to make a contribution to a social cause of their choice equal to the Impact Value of the selected item.

At aadivasi.org, we consider each unit equal to Rs.200/-. For example- If you contribute Rs.200/- which is 1 unit, it would be equal to any of the following causes:

Technically you are paying for the cause and the product is a return gift for your good karma. You will appreciate that we are working with many local self-help groups in remote areas to promote their handicraft skills and with your contribution, we take a holistic approach for the upliftment of society where artisans get fair value for their skills, kids get free education, mid-day meal, female get sanitary pads and community support nature conservation activities. It's an opportunity to shop with a purpose and support a holistic approach to uplift both local artisans and the community at large.

We obtain our ESG rating through a rigorous verification process conducted by an independent expert entity based in the USA. The ESG rating process is aligned with the globally accepted 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We believe in sharing the sustainability impact of every product showcased on our website, which is why we undergo the ESG verification process to provide accurate information to our supporters.
